Every product in our store is carefully evaluated using our own internal scoring system:

It’s how we decide what makes the cut — and what doesn’t.

🔍 How the Nutty Index works

Each product is scored on 5 core criteria.
Every category is rated from 1 to 10 points, for a maximum total score of 50 points.

We then translate that into a clear score out of 10, so it’s easy to understand at a glance.

💡 1. Originality

How new does this feel?

Is this something you’ve seen everywhere before — or something that makes you think:
“Why didn’t I know this existed?”

  • Rewards fresh ideas

  • Penalizes generic or copy-paste products

🛠️ 2. Functionality

Does it actually solve a real problem?

We prioritize gadgets that:

  • save time

  • reduce friction

  • remove everyday annoyances

If it doesn’t improve daily life, it doesn’t score high.

🎨 3. Design & Integration

Does it fit naturally into everyday life?

A good gadget shouldn’t feel awkward, bulky, or out of place.
We look at:

  • visual appeal

  • clean design

  • how easily it blends into home, car, or workspace

🥜 4. Nutty Factor

That “oh… that’s smart” moment

Some products have a clever twist, an unexpected solution, or a satisfying sense of logic.

This score reflects:

  • creativity

  • clever thinking

  • that instant “this is actually smart” reaction

⏳ 5. Long-Term Value

Will this still be useful next year?

We prefer lasting solutions over short-lived hype.

High scores go to products that:

  • remain relevant over time

  • aren’t dependent on trends

  • offer consistent value

📊 Understanding the Nutty Index score

Each product can score up to 50 points total.
We convert that into a simple rating:

  • 40–50 points → 8/10 or higher
    ⭐ Core Nutty Product — highly recommended

  • 30–39 points → 6–7/10
    👍 Solid, useful, and worth considering

  • 20–29 points → 4–5/10
    ⚠️ Support or filler product

  • Below 20 points
    ❌ Not Nutty enough — these are phased out
